| planchart Tutorial Lesson 7 This is the 7th and last lesson. In this lesson we deal with the 'Text', 'Draw' and 'Refresh' items in the menu.
Add Text: This is the same feature described in Lesson 3. Click here to review Lesson 3. Text inserted on a previous chart and saved may be used on this chart. All text will be placed in exactly the same places as they were on the saved chart. You can edit this text in the normal way. A file dialog box will be displayed for you to select the required saved file. Note that symbols are treated the same as text for this purpose.
Immediately after the text is added, before any further action is taken, the text added may be removed. A new menu item is added to the 'Text' menu item, 'Undo Loaded Text'. Draw
Add Lines, Shapes and Symbols: This is the same feature described in Lesson 3. Click here to review Lesson 3. Show Grid: A grid can be drawn to provide guidelines for placement of bars, text and symbols. It is purely an underlay/overlay on the chart and does not form part of the chart. It will not be saved or printed. It can be removed by selecting 'Hide Grid' from the Draw menu. Example of grid: Refresh As you move text and pictures around you may see some 'debris' (a ghosting trail) left behind. Simply click the 'Refresh' menu item and these ghost trails will be removed. |
